The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:

To serve God and my country,

To help people at all times,

And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be

honest and fair,

friendly and helpful,

considerate and caring,

courageous and strong, and

responsible for what I say and do,

and to

respect myself and others,

respect authority,

use resources wisely,

make the world a better place, and

be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts of America are open to girls of the parish from grades K through twelve. The student does not have to attend OLL school to be a Girl Scout. You do not have to have a girl in Girl Scouting to be a volunteer. For information, please call Angela Hautman, 922-6808 ordphautman@fuse.net

Family of God Medal Recipients

The Family of God program is a religious recognition program of the Roman Catholic Church in the USA for Girl Scouts in the second and third grades. The program helps scouts explore a wide range of activities to discover the presence of God in their daily lives as members of their family and parish.

Father Dave presented our third grade Brownies with their Family of God Medals during the Girl Scout Mass on Sunday, March 9. The girls in the troop are Davan Buschmiller, Rose Danenhauer, Helen Dawit, Maggie Finley, Payton Frey, Maddie Hautman, Maggie Helmes, Kelly Hennessy, Emma Herms, Libby Klus, Shamirah McBride, Hannah Teal, Mary Kate Tucker, Bella Wainscott, and Rachel Zeller. Their leaders are Angela Hautman, Hannah Gessendorf, and Colleen DelZotti.
