Philosophy Statement

Our Lady of Lourdes School is a Catholic elementary school which serves to lay the foundation of the basic beliefs and traditions of the Church and strives to be a model of a Christian Community in today’s world.

The faculty and staff, together with the parents and students, make a daily effort to live the gospel message in word, attitude, and action.  Our Lady of Lourdes School strives to educate the whole person by promoting the spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional, and physical development of each student in a value-centered environment of mutual respect.

Academic excellence is achieved by a strong curriculum and development of students’ individual talents.

We prepare our students to become productive members of society and to assume their responsibilities of discipleship.

Mission Statement

Our Lady of Lourdes School is a parish operated archdiocesan Roman Catholic school.  We are committed to quality Catholic education by providing opportunities for spiritual, academic, and personal growth.  The curriculum of Our Lady of Lourdes espouses Christian principles in all our endeavors.  We seek to be a visible sign of Christ’s presence to the community.

Statement of Beliefs

1. We believe that home, school, and parish share a common goal to educate each child.
2. We believe each child’s faith formation begins at home and continues to be an ongoing process which is taught, lived, and celebrated in our school.
3. We believe our instruction helps to develop each child’s potential.
4. We believe that Christian service is essential for each child to live out the Gospel message.
